Goals and Philosophy

I want to become a science teacher in Central Texas, while continuing my education by pursuing elementary and Language Arts certifications.

My teaching philosophy is based around practical exploration and student-led investigation. Learning is an intellectual "game" that students just need to be initiated in by understanding its rules and mechanics. Once students are prepared and initiated in this game, they are able to readily intuit content through hands-on lessons, because the exploration of science or language becomes a comfortable social ritual.
